The role of Assistant Principal at Baylis Court School is one which requires the successful candidate to provide clear leadership, challenge and support for colleagues. This must be carried out in a way that is professional, carried out with integrity and motivational for all members of the community.

The role of the Assistant Principal involves direct contribution to school self-evaluation and also drives improvement in specific areas of the school development plan. Specific areas of responsibility for this role are outlined in the Job Description. We will appoint a leader who will use their knowledge, skills and experience to improve provision for all students at Baylis Court School.

 The person appointed will be given full support in their career development as we believe that development of staff is a key aspect in raising standards for our students.
