Leweston School, located in 46 acres of Dorset countryside, was established in 1891 and is a  successful, independent, co-educational day and boarding school, with 633 students from ages 0 to 18

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring residential Houseparent, who will also be expected to teach up to 50% of a timetable (any subject will be considered).


The Houseparent will have an overview of the pupil’s progress and well-being and will liaise with parents and academic staff where appropriate.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a boarding school and be a qualified teacher.

 

This is a residential role and the post-holder is therefore required to be resident within the boarding house during term time as well as before and after the beginning and end of terms in order to ensure the efficient preparation and running of the House.
