About the Role

Exeter College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Careers Advisor to provide high-quality advice and guidance to our learners, supporting them in all aspects of their next steps and progression planning. The successful candidate will offer impartial Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance on a wide range of destinations, including university, apprenticeships, gap years, study abroad, and employment. This role forms an important part of the college’s commitment to the personal development of our learners and is based within the careers service team in the Department for Teaching, Learning and Development. 

About you

The successful candidate will be someone who is proactive, dynamic and highly personable. You will enjoy working as part of a team working with flexibility and creativity to ensure the college delivers an exceptional learner experience. You will be able to develop strong partnerships and networks external to the college to support our learners in achieving their goals whilst also maintaining an awareness of the community and employer partners the college serves. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and either join the college with existing experience and qualifications as a Careers Adviser or demonstrate the appropriate level of commitment to training and gaining the required credentials for this role.
