Oasis Academy Sholing is looking to recruit a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated, part-time Careers Adviser to support the Principal, staff and our students as we ‘strive for excellence’.

Oasis Academy Sholing is a school where staff, students and parents are proud to belong to the school community. All our staff have the high expectations for our students to do well. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Careers Adviser to join Oasis Academy Sholing, who shares our belief that the opportunities given in school transform and shape the lives of our young people. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in raising aspirations and supporting students to make informed choices about their future and achieve their career goals. Level 4 and 5 candidates must be willing to work towards CIAG level 6 within 12 months.

Specific responsibilities will include the planning and implementation of effective Careers Advice and Guidance sessions, working alongside the Personalised Learning and Enterprise Manager and Associate Assistant Principal to implement the Academy’s Careers Strategy, analysis of destinations data and liaising with post-16 providers. For a full list of duties please see the job description.
