Wey Valley Academy require Catering Assistance to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the School Canteen daily.
General Catering Assistants are required to work in a busy school kitchen, where freshly prepared healthy meals are cooked and served to over 900 pupils and staff on a daily basis. Duties will include food preparation, lunch service, recording temperatures, clearing, cleaning washing up and general kitchen duties. A food hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential. Working as part of a team is essential.
We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.

Wey Valley Academy is a 990 PAN- pupil school which currently has 863 students. Wey Valley Academy joined Ambitions Academy Trust in 2019 and educates Boys and Girls aged between 11 and 16.
