We will look to you to oversee all aspects of the Trust’s operations, so that they reach or exceed the highest standards of performance, and you'll exemplify the strong self-improving culture which underpins the Trust. Growth that's sustainable, measured and benefits all parties is a key objective for is, and you'll identify and secure opportunities which align with our vision and strategy.

Candidates will appreciate both our progress so far, and our significant potential. You must share our values and ethos, and bring a complete professional repertoire, including the strategic and commercial skills required by this role. While you may not have been a headteacher, it's likely that you will have held a senior executive role in a school trust, educational charity or related organisation. Experience of inspecting, and/or a professional network that is relevant to this role, would be a distinct advantage.

An inspiring and credible system leader, with the respect of your peers and a strong track record of educational leadership and improvement, you’ll understand how to lead and grow a complex and ambitious organisation.

The True Learning Partnership is currently made up of five schools (three primary and two secondary) set in a beautiful region spanning the Cheshire – Derbyshire border. Our schools are all rated Good by Ofsted, continuously self-improving, and very popular. We work collaboratively and with a real community focus, providing an excellent education in settings where all pupils can flourish. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved to date, and are excited about the next phase of our journey.

We provide a broad high quality education, which allows children to progress in learning and make a real success of their lives in the community they live. We make it a priority to provide our teachers and support staff with access to first class professional development so that every child has every chance to receive an outstanding experience. An important priority is developing strong links between all of our schools, working as “One Vision, One Trust” to make a positive difference to the communities we serve.

As a group of schools working together we can provide more to our staff and children than any single school could offer alone. The five academies in the Trust are located close to one another, which lends itself to many opportunities to work closely and collaboratively. We are committed to a model of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope and perseverance throughout all aspects of the life and culture of each academy community.

True Learning’s vision is that all its students will benefit from a rich and broad education framed within its ethos and values. Whether you are a parent looking for an excellent school for your child, a teacher looking to progress your career or a school looking to work more closely with us, I hope what you read here encourages you to find out more.
