Are you looking for your next role in primary education?

We are seeking a Year 1 Classroom Teacher to join our team at All Faiths Children’s Academy to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be willing to play a full part in the further development of our academy and our trust, joining us in our aims to make learning irresistible and to provide a nurturing and safe environment for everyone.

This is a fixed term position until the end of the academic year to cover maternity.

Pupils are proud to ‘think inclusively’ as they approach their learning and their daily lives. They thoroughly enjoy learning British Sign Language (BSL). BSL is taught to all pupils in the school.

About All Faiths Children’s Academy

All Faiths Children’s Academy is a one form entry school, we specialise in teaching deaf children and our expert staff help students to communicate effectively using British Sign Language, Sign Supported English, finger spelling, lip reading and speech using a Total Communication approach. Deafness itself is not a barrier to learning or an obstacle; every pupil deserves to have the highest expectations for achievement.

As an accredited Thinking school, we believe that children learn best when a wide and exciting curriculum is delivered through a framework which allows them to think carefully about everything that takes place.
