Job overview
This is a new and exciting post for Middleton Technology School. We are looking for an ambitious individual, who can help transform our marketing and communication in school.
The successful candidate will coordinate all external communications for the Academy, ensuring high standards of communication are maintained and manage social media on behalf of the Academy, increasing its visibility, strengthening community links, and managing the school’s online profile/reputation.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring and background check
The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.

Middleton Technology School is an 11-16 school, and is one of 4 secondary schools serving the town of Middleton within the Borough of Rochdale to the north of the Manchester boundary. The school is part of Great Academies Education Trust which is a small multi academy trust.
