The Content Creator plays a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and visibility across various digital platforms. Working closely with the Marketing and Admissions team, this role focuses on content creation and photography, spearheading innovative creative campaigns to engage our target audiences. Ideal for a recent graduate, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our institution.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Website and Social Media
- Manage and curate content across the school's website and social media platforms.
- Proactively engage with audiences to enhance recruitment efforts and overall engagement.
- Ensure website content remains current and relevant through collaboration with the Marketing team and school departments.
- Utilise analytics tools to monitor web traffic, user behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
- Keep abreast of competitor websites and explore new digital marketing opportunities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for the school.
Digital Advertising
- Identify digital advertising opportunities and collaborate with the Marketing Manager to execute advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and analyse the success of digital advertising efforts.
Content Management
- Oversee the generation of regular news items, announcements, and stories for web and social media platforms.
- Coordinate with academic and support staff to gather relevant information for news and web content.
- Facilitate the creation and distribution of enewsletters and event invitations/announcements.
- Collaborate with staff to acquire appropriate visuals for news items and promotional materials.
- Capture photographs and videos to complement news stories and promotional content.
- Maintain the school's photo and video library
School Publications
- Assist in the production and enhancement of school literature, such as the prospectus.
- Contribute to writing and editing school literature as needed.
- Professional Development
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices through conferences, seminars, and professional development opportunities.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for skill development and qualification attainment.

General
- Support the Marketing and Admissions team in various events and marketing activities as needed.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to assist with school events, with advance notice and potential time off in lieu, subject to agreement with the line manager.
Other
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned with appropriate training and time allocation.
- Complete any tasks, as appropriate, requested by the Director of Marketing and Admissions, Headmaster and Bursar.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations within the scope of responsibility.
- Fulfil any reasonable requests from the Headmaster, Director of Marketing and Admissions and the Bursar to undertake tasks of a similar level not specified in the job description.
- This job description is subject to amendment following discussions between the Manager and the staff member and will be reviewed annually.
