We are currently seeking a Coordinated Sciences Teacher to teach at KS4 and KS5 levels, with a preference for candidates who are also able to teach Maths at KS4. Preference will be given to candidates who are EU citizens or already have work permission to work in Poland.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related Science field
- British teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or SCITT)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proficiency in English (Level C2 or IELTS 8.5)
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience in international schools
- Experience working with students who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Right to work in the EU or current work permission for Poland
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Implementation: Deliver the curriculum for KS4 and KS5, following the Cambridge Programme guidelines.
- Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK-based initiatives and developments.
- Planning & Assessment: Ability to plan effective lessons, use assessment data to track student progress, and promote learning.
- Classroom Management: Demonstrate strong classroom and pastoral care skills.
- Communication: Engage with parents regarding student progress and pastoral care.
- Administrative Competence: Utilize IT skills for administrative and teaching-related tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach Coordinated Sciences at KS4 and KS5 levels, with the possibility of teaching Maths at KS4.
- Maintain consistency across campuses by liaising with other teachers.
- Assist with Cambridge Curriculum administration and planning.
- Organize educational trips and visits.
- Keep accurate records of assessments, attendance, and student performance.
- Support school-wide initiatives and participate in after-school activities.

Visa Requirements:
- Preference for EU citizens or candidates with existing work permission for Poland. Non-EU citizens will need a Type D Visa before relocating. The work permit process can take up to 5 months.
