This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual to become part of an enthusiastic and hard-working team. We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to support in delivering teaching and learning and supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, across all subjects. You will also provide technical and administrative support to the departments. The successful applicant will have a commitment to supporting the success of all young people and a willingness to engage fully in professional development.

This post is ideal for someone wishing to gain experience in a school, in support of a future teacher training application. A qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable. 

We are looking for someone who has:

• a genuine passion for teaching, and either has, or would like to gain classroom experience

• a commitment to students’ welfare, happiness and success in school

• good communication skills and the ability to form good relationships

• enthusiasm and a commitment to make a difference to students

• the ability to manage time effectively 

• good IT skills

• the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
