The Two Counties Trust is a great place to start or continue your career. Our mission is to provide our students with opportunities and experiences to enhance their life choices, making a positive contribution to the world we share, and this role plays a key part in helping us to achieve our mission

Cover Supervisors are responsible for supervising lessons with prepared resources in the absence of the teacher and providing support more generally in school. The balance of the working week can vary, but the priority of this role is the supervision of a class of students and maintaining a productive learning environment.

To secure this role you need to enjoy working with young people, be flexible to meet the needs of the school and students and have strong verbal and written communication skills. You must also possess a Level 2 qualification in English and maths.

Our Trust Cover Supervisors are deployed to a cluster of schools and therefore depending on your working pattern, you may be able to benefit from the variety of working in more than one school. Comprehensive training will be provided before you start working with our students.

We can be flexible on the number of hours each week, and so if you want to work full time, that is great. If you want to work just one day a week, well that works for us too. We want the best people to work with our students and recognise that work life balance is important.

We have part time Cover Supervisor opportunities available across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire at Friesland School, Frederick Gent School, Selston High School, Swanwick Hall School, Heritage High School, and Springwell Community College. If you are looking for full time work, we can readily accommodate that via our cluster model of nearby schools to create a full-time post...
