Scale: NJC 5 points 11-15

Salary: £31,074 – £32,931 Full Time Equivalent per annum (actual starting salary pro rata will be £26,693)

33 hours per week, term time including five INSET days

We are looking for a creative and engaging worker to join The Limes College and support vulnerable young people in Key Stage 3 and 4 who have been excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.

You will be mainly supervising whole classes during the short term absence of a teacher and providing general administrative support.

You will have:

• English and Maths qualifications GCSE grade A-C;

• Preferably educated to A level or degree standard;

• Experience of working with students with behavioural difficulties and learning needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups;

• Good communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, students, parents/carers and other professionals.
