Job Overview

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future success of fundraising at one of the UK's leading independent schools. Whether you have previous experience in charitable fundraising or not - and whether you've worked in the world of independent education or not - we are looking for someone who can help us to raise substantial awareness and support for a unique educational vision.

You'll be playing a significant role within the small and dynamic Development Office team, contributing to the shaping of fundraising strategy and raising charitable sums principally for 'Change 100', our mission to provide life-changing educational bursaries. In particular, you will have responsibility for building 'major gift' support from a network of alumni, parents and friends of the School - and you'll also be working with the Prep Schools within The Stowe Group on their fundraising and development ambitions.

Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills are essential, as is an ability and enthusiasm for identifying and delivering new fundraising ideas and opportunities. You will have excellent organisational skills and enjoy multi-tasking in a hard-working, dynamic environment. If this sounds like you, we much look forward to hearing from you!
