Six hours per week term time only plus two INSET days
We are looking for to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to help support and improve the learning experience of our students.
The key aspects of this technician role will involve the following:
- Preparing for lessons including setting up and clearing away materials and equipment.
- Ensuring all workspaces and equipment is maintained and cleaned to the highest standard.
- Supporting the class teacher with lesson demonstrations and assisting students with using equipment.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are always upheld.
- Ordering stock and managing stock levels.
The successful applicant will enjoy working with 11-18-year-olds. You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of team. You will share our inclusive values which are to Aim high – Be inclusive – Work together; and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.
