About Us

Global Academy is a specialist UTC (University Technical College) preparing students aged 14-19 for careers in the creative, media, and digital industries. Sponsored by Global Media and Entertainment, home to brands such as Capital, Heart, Classic FM, and LBC, we offer students unparalleled access to industry experts, real-world projects, and state-of-the-art facilities.

As a UTC, we focus on career-focused pathways, combining academic rigour with vocational specialisms. We are proud to be exempt from traditional metrics like Progress 8, allowing us to focus on real-world skills and industry-readiness.

The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to inspire young people in a unique, industry-connected academy. Starting in September 2025, as a Digital Futures Educator, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science and Digital Technology to students aged 14-19.
  • Design and implement an innovative curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry advancements and student needs.
  • Guide students through their T Level qualifications, fostering practical skills, creativity, and confidence in the digital sector.
  • Collaborate closely with industry partners, offering students real-world insights and opportunities to thrive in tech-driven careers.
