In May 2024, Education in Motion (EiM) announced its partnership with Sakol Sathapat, a prominent Thailand-based developer, to establish a Dulwich College International in Bangkok.

Scheduled to open in August 2026, Dulwich College Bangkok will join EiM’s existing network of international schools in Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, and Suzhou. Dulwich College Bangkok will combine a rich heritage of British international education with Thai architectural elegance, initially catering to 1,000 Early Years and Junior School students, with plans to expand to 1,800 students with the opening of a Senior School by 2029. The College will provide an exceptional educational experience, emphasising academic excellence, holistic development, and the Dulwich ethos.

Pre-opening, the Director of Business Administration will work closely with the Project Director and the Founding Head of College to ensure that the school is ready for opening in August 2026. The primary responsibility will include team recruitment and developing the school’s operational activities. The Director of Business Administration will be the senior non-academic executive and will take primary responsibility for the delivery of all support services including human resources and administration, finance, information technology, and operations. The Director of Business Administration will be a member of the school leadership team and will report directly to the Founding Head of College. The position will also have a functional reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer of the EiM Group.

The successful candidate will demonstrate intercultural sensitivity and adaptability required to effectively navigate an international environment. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, who is dirven to take the initiative and achieve high standards in a challenging environment. They will be practical and solution focussed, with a hands-on approach to leadership, as well as strong bias for action and getting results. A people person, they will be enthusiastic about forming and leading a team and being part of a larger group of schools.
