The London Oratory School invites you to apply for the permanent post of Director of Finance and Operations. We educate boys from 7 to 18, with girls in the Sixth form, in a broad, liberal arts curriculum – but that’s not all, so do please visit our website for a fuller flavour: www.london-oratory.org
The School enjoys a highly competitive salary scale to recognise and reward the very committed body of staff that make up its Common Room.
Our invitation:
The Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) is a key member of our School’s leadership team, who oversees finance, health and safety, human resources, estates, IT, catering, cleaning, compliance, and administration. The DFO will advise on and implement the day-to-day operational support that enables the School to operate effectively and efficiently, and that allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.
The Director of Finance and Operations is also Data Protection Officer, Company Secretary, and acts as Clerk to the Governors, assisting the outsourced Clerking Service to the Governors (currently Judicium). The post is the most senior of the non-teaching staff and has ex officio membership of the Senior Staff group. As a member of this leadership team, the post holder will provide vision and professional leadership for the functional and strategic delivery of support services and resources within the School.

- Our pupils: Well-disciplined, switched on, cosmopolitan - and quirky - supported in their growth by skilled staff and a tightly structured pastoral system;
- Our staff: An intellectually lively and collegial Common Room culture, that supports you in your career pathway;

Founded in 1863 by the Fathers of the Oratory, we cater for boys aged seven to eighteen and have approximately 1,330 pupils enrolled. Girls are admitted to the Sixth form.
