Job overview

Job Purpose:
- Ensure a clear shared vision for excellent progress, pastoral support and a culture of high expectations within the key stage.
- Strategically lead and co-ordinate pastoral support
- To engage with parents to build and maintain positive relationships with the community and maintain excellent records of intervention, supporting the graduated approach to pastoral support
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential;
- To share and support the academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

About Hartshill Academy
Hartshill Academy is a secondary academy in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, for pupils aged 11-16.
Hartshill Academy is set in extensive grounds and the catchment covers very diverse urban and rural areas. This is a very exciting time for Hartshill Academy as we prepare for the move to our new building in September 2023. We are very fortunate to be one of the 50 schools chosen nationally as part of this project and we are all looking forward to the new opportunities this will bring.
