Job overview

The Head of Wycliffe College invites applications for the position of Director of Marketing and Admissions.

Wycliffe is a thriving co-educational day and boarding Prep and Senior school for pupils aged 3 to 19, set within 52 acres of grounds in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside. Valuing tradition, embracing modernity, and respecting individualism, Wycliffe welcomes pupils with a wide range of abilities and rejoices in their individual successes. Pupils, irrespective of their background, are empowered to reach their full potential and are nurtured to become confident and independent global citizens set to thrive in an ever-changing world. The College is renowned for its excellent pastoral care across both schools, underpinned by a strong house system, and the breadth of its rich co-curricular programme, which spans Sports and the Arts, and takes full advantage of the College’s natural surroundings. An innovative and stimulating curriculum offers a broad range of subjects in response to pupils’ interests and results are consistently strong.

The Head is now looking to appoint a new Director of Marketing and Admissions to lead Wycliffe’s successful Marketing and Admissions functions, ensuring that the brand and messaging of the College is both compelling and impactful, and overseeing further growth in pupil enrolment from the local day and national and international boarding markets. The Director of Marketing and Admissions will report directly to the Head and sit on the College’s Leadership Team, working closely with other senior leaders and the Council of Trustees towards the College’s ambitious aims and objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre individual with proven leadership abilities and an extensive marketing, admissions or marketing-led sales background. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in all that they do and will excel in building relationships with both teaching and non-teaching staff. They will play a key role in promoting Wycliffe’s unique strengths and accomplishments, with a clear alignment to the College’s values and ethos. At a time of uncertainty across the sector, the successful candidate will be energetic, dynamic, and fully committed to helping to guide the community into its next chapter as well as shaping and implementing its new and forthcoming strategic plan.
