Dutch as a Foreign Language Teacher

The job

Every day, you will provide an inspiring teaching and learning environment where students can grow, flourish, and succeed in learning the Dutch language. As a Dutch as a foreign language teacher, you will demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of how to effectively teach Dutch to a range of classes and age groups. You will also work closely with parents and support school events.

What can you expect from us?

• A temporary, part-time replacing appointment for the 2024-2025 school year, starting on February 13, 2025;
• Salary grading takes place in scale LB (min. € 3.463,- max € 5.277,-);
• Excellent benefit conditions including 8.33% year-end bonus, training opportunities, ABP Pension and various voluntary participation in collective insurances;

This is what we ask of you

• Preferably at least two years’ experience of teaching primary aged students;
• You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of Dutch culture;
• You are able to work together with an established team of language teachers;
• Strong knowledge and experience in diverse teaching strategies, educational methodologies, and understanding of various cultural backgrounds;
• A good level of English is preferable though not essential.
