The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner (Fixed Term Contract) to join our fantastic team on a fixed term contract basis from January until Spring Term 2025.

About the role
As a Early Years Practitioner, you will provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for our Nursery and Pre School children, promoting positive practice. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children's development, and maintaining positive relationships with parents and colleagues. You will act as a Key Person for a small group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met. Additionally, the role involves adhering to health and safety policies, supporting special needs inclusion, and contributing to the overall vision of the nursery.

Who we are looking for
You will have Early Years teacher status/Early Years professional status or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent, along with Maths and English qualifications and a commitment to safeguarding and ongoing professional development. A strong understanding of child development and excellent communication skills are essential for success. As well as strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high degree of integrity and empathy when working with children, and the ability to plan and provide age-appropriate activities.
