Our Foundation Stage campus, situated a kilometre away from the main campus, is purpose built for our younger learners, with an outdoor swimming pool, sports hall, music classrooms, flexible learning areas and a fully landscaped outdoor play-based learning space.

DBSJP follows the National Curriculum for England, from EYFS through to GCSE, BTEC and A Level examination courses. We firmly believe that the opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are equally as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive, competitive, and varied extra-curricular activities programme.

Primary Purpose of role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, forward-thinking and qualified special educational needs practitioner to lead on inclusion in our outstanding learning environment. The core purpose of this role is to provide professional, highly effective leadership and management that will achieve outstanding results in all aspects of Foundation Stage life. The Early Years SENCo supports the Senior Leadership Team’s inspiring vision and sets clear direction with respect to the inclusion framework for all members of the Foundation Stage. Ultimately, the Early Years SENCo is responsible for ensuring that the graduated response is embedded across Foundation stage so that every student can thrive in our nurturing environment regardless of their barriers.
