Job overview

We wish to appoint a dynamic and efficient Educational Welfare and Admissions Officer to provide administrative support to Student Services and play a key role in the next phase of our development from a Good to Outstanding School.  

 

Haggerston School was judged ‘good’ by OFSTED in December 2022. The OFSTED report noted: “Staff feel well supported and have access to a wide range of professional development opportunities.”


We are currently seeking an experienced Educational Welfare and Admissions Officer who: 

  • can be responsible for the smooth and efficient preparation and enrolment of the school's new Year 7 intake groups and mid term admissions
  • will support the school to raise attendance and punctuality across the school, measure attendance and punctuality and implement innovative strategies for improvement in these areas
  • has previous relevant experience in a similar environment
  • has excellent communication, time management and IT skills including the use of SIMS
