Are you an enthusiastic educator with a passion for Engineering and Design? Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou, the only full boarding school in Changzhou, is expanding its innovative Engineering and Design Department to inspire young minds in new and exciting ways. We are looking for a confident and experienced teacher who can work effectively with middle school-aged students, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Engineering and Design lessons suited to the UK curriculum, adapting content to an international and creative learning context.

• Inspire and support middle school students through practical, project-based learning experiences that nurture curiosity and problem-solving skills.

• Work collaboratively within the department to develop new curriculum offerings, enhancing the program and expanding students’ exposure to engineering and design concepts.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in engineering education and innovative teaching practices.

• Contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities and department initiatives.

• Have the spirit of competition to ensure that our students have opportunities to engage in regional and international competitions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a recognized teaching qualification.

• Proven experience in Engineering, Design, or related fields, with a strong foundation in delivering the UK curriculum or equivalent.

• Confidence in teaching and engaging middle school-aged students with diverse learning styles.

• A creative, hands-on approach to teaching, inspiring students to explore, build, and innovate.

• Collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Experience in a boarding school setting or international school environment is advantageous.

• Experience in a CAD/CAM or robotics is advantageous.
