Panyathip International School, The British International School in Laos, will have vacancy for a suitably qualified Secondary English Teacher from January 2025 (Urgent).
Vientiane, the capital city, is where we have three age specific (Early Years, Primary and Secondary) purpose built campuses and there is another, but smaller all-through, campus in the Southern city of Savannakhet.
Our students are well motivated, almost always well behaved and eager to learn.
The successful applicant will be someone who :
- can teach at least two of the secondary key stages - someone with experience of GCSE/IGCSE and AS/A Level would be particularly welcome
- loves literature and has the ability to share his /her passion and encourage books and reading with our students
- will show willingness to embrace Lao culture
- has experience of teaching children whose first language may not be English
- is a team player and will contribute to the department and its activities and initiatives both in and out of the classroom
- who is willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school outside the classroom.
- A qualified teacher able to demonstrate strong academic and intellectual credentials with evidence of relevant and recent CPD.
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum and/or the Cambridge Curriculum is desirable.

Panyathip British International School, is a well-established International School. Founded in the academic year 2001 - 2002, Panyathip British International School comprises of three (3) schools i.e. Early Years School, Primary International School and Secondary International School, catering for students from 1 to 18 years old.
