Estates Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and positive Estates Technician to provide a support service to the school across a diverse range of activities. Duties include buildings maintenance, portering duties, legal compliance monitoring, swimming pool water quality monitoring and assisting with the execution of one-off projects.

This is a busy role and the post-holder will need to be flexible, working both independently and as part of a team. There is a need for close liaison with various team members and good communication skills are a must. The nature of the role means that an ability to carry out a broad range of physical work is essential. The post-holder will also hold a current driving licence.

Hours: This is a full-time role working all year round. Core working hours are on a shift system Monday to Friday with some weekend working on a rota basis (currently 1 in 5).

Salary: Competitive and negotiable for the right candidate

The school offers membership of a competitive contributory pension scheme which includes employer contributions of 10% and death in service benefit.

Additional Benefits: Lunch is provided. Free onsite parking, use of the school gym and heated swimming pool (at designated times) and access to free fitness classes are all included.

Starting date: As soon as possible
