Pyrland School, part of the Richard Huish Trust, is looking to appoint efficient and reliable Exam Invigilators to join our fantastic team of support staff.
We require individuals to work on a casual basis during our busy examination periods. Hours are flexible by agreement with the Exams Officer. Invigilators will be required to assist in the supervision of students taking examinations. You might be required to support individual students by reading aloud and/or transcribing verbal answers to examination questions. Good spoken and written English are essential for this role. No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Pyrland School is an 11-16 school in the North of Taunton. With modern, impressive facilities, the school currently caters for approximately 900+ students, with an increasing roll anticipated to see numbers rise to in the region of 1200 over the next few years.

About Pyrland School
Pyrland School (formerly The Taunton Academy) is a secondary school (11 – 16), located on the outskirts of Taunton with approximately 830 students on roll. We are rapidly growing in terms of pupil numbers and this is forecast to continue over the coming years until we reach capacity (1200). We are the first academy to have joined the Richard Huish Trust, with exceptionally close links to the Richard Huish College – an outstanding sixth form college at the heart of the Taunton community.
