Our school is a remarkable place and has been educating girls since 1888. Job description

Examination Invigilators 

Days/hours of work: casual and part time, by agreement during exam periods

Salary £13.13 per hour

 

We are looking for Examination Invigilators to supervise pupils during examinations throughout the school year. You will need to work professionally as a member of a team which ensures that regulations are followed in a supportive environment for our students taking internal and external examinations. Invigilators work part-time and periodically and are essential to the smooth and calm running of examinations.

 

Applicants will have a calm manner with a flexible attitude to work. You will be punctual, reliable and a good communicator.

 

Training will be provided, and the main duties may include:

 

  • Assisting the Assistant Head - Examinations and Futures with the administration and supervision of examinations in accordance with the examination board regulations and guidance.
  • Preparation of seating plans and ensure that candidates adhere to them.
  • Supervision and observation of candidates throughout examinations, dealing with queries raised and any irregularities in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensuring that equipment taken into the examination room by candidates is compliant with examination board and school requirements.
  • The secure collection of all exam scripts.
