Information about London Academy

London Academy is an ambitious and high-performing Academy in Edgware, serving a multicultural and

examination results puts us in the top 1% of all schools in the country in terms of progress at GCSE.

The Opportunity

We are working with Chefs in Schools to employ a new catering team at London Academy. This has created

an exciting opportunity for an Executive Head Chef who will lead on developing, implementing and

continuously improving the culinary vision for the Academy. We have three service areas across the site in

addition to daily community, or “family-style”, lunch, and feed well in excess of 1,000 students and staff every

day.

London Academy hosts a significant number of events throughout the year, from large internal meetings to

parent events to educational visits and conferences. Our vision is for the quality of the catering for these

events, as well as for our students and staff, to match the quality of the education we offer.

We offer fantastic facilities, the opportunity to build a team, and financial support to design menus and service

which are genuinely exceptional.

Please review the Job Description which contains more detail on the purpose of the post, as well as a list of

criteria we expect the successful candidate to meet.
