FACILITIES OPERATIONS MANAGER

Dauntsey’s School would like to appoint a confident, articulate individual with prior experience of working in a school environment with appropriate experience and proven skills to be the Facilities Operations Manager.
The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving operational workstreams within the Facilities Department, including managing the rental of school facilities to external parties. This customer-facing role ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of the school by supporting staff, maintaining health and safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality service in a secure environment. The Manager collaborates with colleagues and teams to implement cost-effective, efficient solutions aligned with the school’s operational and strategic objectives.
Exceptional ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks or projects effectively, ensuring high-quality results within competing deadlines. Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills, combined with diplomacy and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential matters are all essential qualities for this role.
