International Community Schools Abu Dhabi is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and qualified FS2/Reception Teacher (British Only) to join our Early Years team. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners and create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment to help children develop their early learning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring all students are engaged and challenged.
  • Develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches.
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters children’s curiosity and love for learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians through meetings and reports.
  • Collaborate with other staff members and participate in school activities, events, and staff meetings.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students.
  • Maintain high expectations for student behavior and academic achievement.
  • Utilize technology and other resources to enhance learning experiences.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in FS2/Reception or Early Years.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Culturally aware with a commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
  • Experience working in an international school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
