For the last 300 years, Rishworth School has occupied magnificent buildings in 140 acres of Yorkshire countryside, nestled in the Ryburn Valley.
We are seeking to appoint, from September 2024, enthusiastic GAP year students to support in all aspects of our boarding school. This post is an ideal opportunity for gap year students wishing to gain experience in a wide range of educational related tasks, and to develop their workplace skills while obtaining an insight into the English Education system. Ideally suited to flexible and adaptable people. Accommodation, utilities, meals and an allowance is provided.

About Rishworth School
Rishworth School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent day and boarding school situated in Rishworth, West Yorkshire. The school has a Christian ethos but welcomes students from all faiths. There are approximately 450 pupils at Rishworth, between the ages of 3-19.
Rishworth School was established in 1724 by John Wheelwright in a small building, now used as the school’s chapel. The junior school, Heathfield opened in 1951. The school is set around 130 acres of parkland. It is a founder member of the Society of Headmasters for Independent Schools (SHMIS). Rishworth and Heathfield both offer an extensive range of learning facilities and share a swimming pool, performing arts centre and playing fields.
