A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Governance Manager to join our dedicated Governance Team.

The role of the Governance Manager: Panels and Processes is essential to the effective working of our Trust. This position would be ideal for someone with either experience in Governance or Human Resources where they have previously dealt with investigations.

The postholder will be a “shoulder partner” to the Headteachers, governance professionals and HR. They will lead and conduct investigations as and when they arise. This will involve interviewing parents, students, staff or wider stakeholders, producing reports, organising and managing panels, taking minutes etc. There will be an expectation that you are flexible travelling between sites and therefore access to a car is essential although your base is at Vortex 1000, Wavertree, Liverpool where you will have a desk in a shared office with the HR team. After a period of induction, your working pattern may include hybrid remote working when you are not face to face conducting investigations or managing panels. 

This post will report directly to the CEO and be reportable to the Board of Trustees, holding responsibility for investigations and will report to the Director of HR for the wider HR role.

Lydiate Learning Trust is a successful and growing group of Academies across both the Primary and Secondary sector and operating largely in the Liverpool City Region. The main Trust office is based in Wavertree Technology Park and the successful individual will have a desk at this centre. They will also be asked to work on site in our schools as and when required.
