Grounds Person

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, co-educational independent day school on the outskirts of Bristol. We are looking for a Grounds Person to join our successful Grounds team.

The successful applicant will assist in the daily delivery of general grounds care and external area maintenance of the 32-acre site at Collegiate School. The role focuses more on the maintenance and development of the school’s grass and artificial sports pitches, but the person will also assist with maintenance of the gardens.

The role requires independent and team working in order to provide the following: gardens and grounds in good and safe condition; natural and artificial sports pitches to a high standard throughout the year; maintenance of the equipment necessary to deliver these services. 

The working hours for this position are 40 hours per week, from 7.30am to 4.30pm, with 1 hour unpaid for lunch/breaks, and with occasional weekend work.

You will receive a salary of between £24,00 and £26,250 per annum depending on skills, experience and qualifications. This will include a holiday allowance based on 25 days per year plus 8 bank holidays.
