Head of Department - Science (With 50% Teaching Load)

Impact American School is seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of Science to lead the Science department and inspire students and teachers alike. This is a unique opportunity to champion STEM education, integrate technology into learning, and oversee the use of our state-of-the-art science labs and resources.

What We Are Looking For:

• A fully qualified teacher with a degree in Education (Bachelors or Masters or PGCE), specialising in Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in an American or international school setting.
• Proven experience in teaching Science across multiple grades, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and delivery.
• A forward-thinking leader who can embed STEM principles and utilise technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of educators.

What We Would Really Like:

• Experience in integrating STEM and technology into Science programs.
• Certification in leadership or curriculum development.
• Experience in a founding school or department.
• Familiarity with data-driven teaching practices to track and improve student outcomes.
