Opened in September 2015, Braeburn Dar es Salaam International School is the youngest school within the highly respected Braeburn Group of International Schools. Located close to the Indian Ocean, just north of the city centre of Dar es Salaam, the school is a co-educational, day school offering the National Curriculum of England and CIE IGCSEs and A levels, as well as Pearson BTECs to students between the ages of 2 and 18 years.

Braeburn Dar es Salaam International School is looking to appoint a

Head of Early Years

for mid-August 2025. This post provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative Early Years teacher with recent experience of teaching the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Three years’ teaching experience post qualification is essential for work permit application purposes. Experience of leading an Early Years setting would be advantageous.

A commitment to contribute to a very positive school environment, including an extensive extra-curricular programme is essential.

The successful candidate will receive a two-year contract, medical cover, an accommodation allowance and a competitive local salary.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants will be asked for an ICPC, or the equivalent police Certificate of Good Conduct from the country of current employment.
