We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of EYFS to lead and inspire our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team at our prestigious school. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an individual who is committed to high standards of early childhood education, and who can guide and support the development of the EYFS curriculum within a British curriculum framework.
Start Date: January 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the EYFS department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement the EYFS curriculum in line with the British education system and the school's ethos.
- Lead, mentor, and support EYFS staff in their professional development.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring a strong focus on their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Create and maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Engage with parents and the school community to ensure a partnership in children's learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and the safeguarding of children at all times.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Education (Early Years or related field).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a leadership role in EYFS, ideally in a British curriculum setting.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a nurturing learning environment.
