This role is suitable for an experienced Head of Geography or an excellent teacher who aspires to be a Head of Geography in the near future.

The Head of Geography will take lead responsibility for providing leadership and management for the subject to secure:

  • High-quality teaching
  • Effective use of resources
  • Improved standards of learning and achievement for all


The job requires a person who:

  • Is an excellent teacher
  • Can lead and deliver quality learning in Geography with all students
  • Wants to innovate and develop Geography within the curriculum model
  • Can lead and be part of a team
