Located on a green, spacious campus at Don Mueang, the School provides an outstanding education to students from 18 months to 18 years. As the leading British international school in Bangkok, a Harrow Bangkok education is for life.
This is a truly exciting time to be joining the School and the wider AISL Harrow Family of Schools. Operating in a highly competitive environment, Harrow Bangkok is currently at capacity (with some 900 students in the Lower School) and delivers excellent academic results year on year. A truly world-class school, Harrow Bangkok is rooted in the Harrow values of Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship, and is the clear school of choice in the region. Educational excellence ensures Bangkok Harrovians flourish at school and beyond, as global citizens prepared for the challenges of an ever-changing world. The School’s aim is for students to not only achieve outstanding academic and co-curricular results, but to develop the personal qualities, skills and determination to make a positive difference to the world in which they live. The School’s community is currently delivering on an exciting new Vision which reflects these aspirations.
Reporting to the Head, and as a member of the School’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Head of Lower School will join at a particularly exciting time in the Lower School’s development, overseeing the building of a new ‘state-of-the-art’ Early Years Centre, part of a significant investment in the whole School site. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader and team player, with a commitment to high standards in teaching and learning and outstanding pastoral care across the Early Years and Pre-Prep Phases. They will have an appreciation and interest in Thai culture, and a drive to bring the best of British and Global education and innovative thinking, as well as a collaborative and enabling style. They will form strong relationships with staff, students and parents in Thailand, as well as with the wider AISL Harrow Family of Schools.
