Job overview
Beechwood Park School, is a renowned Independent co-educational prep school with flexible boarding, just north of the village of Markyate, close to St. Albans in Hertfordshire.
We are seeking to appoint a new Head of Operations to ensure that the school’s non-teaching functions including Health and Safety Management, Transportation, Lettings and Events (including Holiday Clubs), Catering (outsourced) and Compliance are effectively managed and communicated across the site, throughout the year.
This is a very varied role – and an excellent opportunity for an individual with similar experiences but seeking an opportunity to develop new skills and perhaps work in a different sector / environment. Experience of the Independent School sector would be ideal but we are also open to applications for those with experience in the wider not-for-profit sector including charities, museums or heritage attractions,. State education experience is also very welcome.
