Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations, encouraging our students to be aspirational with their learning and to enjoy all aspects of school life. We are looking to appoint a professional and engaging Head of Year, to join our highly successful team in January 2025.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified and organised pastoral leader, to work within an innovative and successful Academy. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated practitioner with sixth form experience, who has a real love for their subject and the capacity to use creative approaches in their teaching.

Our ideal candidate will be a committed team player, who shares our vision to ‘Let your light so shine’. You will be responsible for setting the vision for the year group, developing and delivering a strategic plan that builds on our school’s priorities. You will be responsible for monitoring academic and pastoral progress and ensuring that all students are well supported on their journey through school. This post is supported by a team of 8 Form tutors, who you will be responsible for leading and managing the pastoral wellbeing and progress of students in the sixth form. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who are qualified to teach Maths or English, KS3 to KS5.
