Head of Year

We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, inspirational and skilful head of year. The main

responsibilities of the role include, for the year group:

• Managing the tutors, and leading on the tutor programme
• Leading on rewards and celebrations
• Leading assemblies
• Overseeing the professional development curriculum, including careers
• Overseeing the extra-curricular offers available
• Writing Additional Needs Plans
• Conducting student voice
• Ensuring good behaviour

The role also includes teaching responsibility and this can be from any subject.
