Young Foundations are looking to open a new school in the Huddersfield area February 2025!

Are you an innovative Headteacher committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people?

Edan Court School is a brand new SEN school and we are looking to appoint a talented and inspirational headteacher who will build a new school and create their own team.

Edan Court School will have capacity for 24 pupils, but we are looking for a Headteacher to start immediately to lead and develop the school through its development with the school planned to open February 2025

As a Headteacher, you will promote a relentless focus on high quality, creative learning, delivering our pupils educational needs, maximising pupil’s achievement, and their ability to develop.

As Headteacher you will have an infrastructure of support from central services for finance, resourcing, HR and IT including a network of supportive Headteachers from other schools alongside central school improvement support.

We are seeking the right person to provide outstanding leadership and management for our very special school where everyone is Valued, Challenged and Inspired. You will be skilled in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partner organisations at all levels to maximise the educational opportunities for children and young people with complex additional needs.

The role will require you to be a dynamic and professional leader, able to motivate staff, set high expectations, enhance achievement and facilitate rigorous and continuous self-evaluation.

You will develop, secure and sustain high quality teaching and effective learning across the school, monitor, evaluate and review classroom practice and promote continuous improvement. You will seek to set outstanding standards and to maintain high expectations amongst staff for the progress of all pupils. You will have an exceptional track record of success, specifically in relation to positive outcomes for all pupils regardless of background or ability.
