Kippax Ash Tree Primary School is a vibrant primary school for children aged 3- 11 in East Leeds, with the whole school community striving for continual improvement and to be ‘better, every day’. As part of the Brigshaw Learning Partnership MAT, we are committed to shaping a child’s journey from infancy all the way through to university or a high-quality alternative.

Our 7 schools share a common commitment to improving outcomes and raising aspirations for all our 3000 students, providing a cradle to career education that allows our children to enjoy lives of choice and opportunity. Close collaboration and strong support are central to how our leaders work- our schools are situated only 10 minutes away from each other, and our primary children all transition to our secondary school.

At Kippax Ash Tree Primary School, we have established ourselves as a welcoming and popular school for our community. The school received a ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement in February 2024, and this role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated staff team to continue our upward trajectory. As our new Headteacher, you will provide inspirational and compelling leadership that will further improve Kippax Ash Tree Primary School for the 350 children it serves. You will be dedicated to inclusive practice, bring with you the best of opportunities for children, and have the highest expectations for an outstanding education for all.

As our next Headteacher, you’ll be given the autonomy to lead and shape the school for the future, as well as every opportunity to work collaboratively with talented leaders across the trust- who all work with our core values of Equality, Integrity and Resilience in mind. You could be a Deputy Headteacher looking for your first Headship or a serving Headteacher looking for a new challenge- what matters is that you share our belief that no child should be left behind.
