Established in September 2016, UST currently comprises four member schools located in two London Boroughs:

St Paul’s Way School (SPW) 3 - 18 all-through school in Tower Hamlets

Royal Greenwich Trust School (RGTS) 11 - 18 secondary school in Greenwich

Cyril Jackson Primary School (CJPS) 3 - 11 primary school in Tower Hamlets

Sir William Burrough Primary School (SWB) 3 - 11 primary school in Tower Hamlets

We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a Recruitment Professional, to join our central HR team.

The Recruitment Manager role is essential to driving forward our People strategy and as such, we are seeking an experienced professional who can manage the Trust-wide recruitment service, demonstrating best practise in the following areas:

  • Recruit high-quality teaching and support staff for short, long-term placements and permanent roles to our schools
  • Support with attracting candidates that fit the Trust’s aspirations of growth
  • Lead on recruitment activities with agencies including the creation and implementation of a preferred suppliers list
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for agency applicants including compliance and vetting checks
  • Lead on training of recruitment systems, processes, and procedures to school-based colleagues
  • Support the design and implementation of the in-house iTrent Recruitment module
  • Oversee the recruitment contracts and subscriptions ensuring best value for money
  • Represent the Trust at relevant external events (such as recruitment fairs, partnership events etc.)
