Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching the IGCSE curriculum and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the IGCSE syllabus.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for IGCSE examinations with a focus on achieving high results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Support school initiatives and participate in extracurricular activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (Bachelor of Education preferred).
- Teaching qualification/diploma (e.g., PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English at the IGCSE level.
- Proven track record of preparing students for IGCSE examinations.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with other curricula (e.g., IB, A-Level) is an advantage.
- IELTS score of 7.0 or higher (if applicable for non-native speakers).
