A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive and forward-thinking individual to make a real difference to the life chances of young people.

 

We are looking for dynamic, child centred applicants for this key position within in our Inclusion Team.  You will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area. Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.

 

·        As a Teaching & Learning Assistant in our Bridge and KS3 Alternative Provision, you will be working at our on-site alternative provision hubs, supporting and enabling students with behavioural needs to reach their full potential.

 

Salary Scale for this role: LGA Scale 5 Point 13 (£26,873-£28,770 FTE), Actual Salary £18,739-£20,062 per annum (Pay Award pending). There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.

Working hours: 28.33 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.20am-3pm, term time only, paid for 47.36 weeks per year.

Contract: Fixed Term for one year from September 2024
