Moor House School & College is an outstanding residential and day school for children and young people with significant speech, language and communication needs. Situated close to a mainline station with direct links to London, the school is located in a beautiful rural setting on the Kent and Surrey borders. Moor House provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students aged from 7 to 19.
We are seeking to recruit an Integrative Child Psychotherapist to work initially for one day per week, 8.2 hours, with demonstrable interest in Developmental Language Disorder and or/speech disorders and associated diagnoses. The role will involve direct individual work with students across the school and college and contribution within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to student mental health and well-being. Applicants must be trained to MA standard and be registered (or working towards registration) with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Successful candidates will join the mental health and wellbeing team that is part of a large, established Therapy Team. CPD and research opportunities are considered vital to the provision of a high-quality service, and these are actively encouraged.
