KS1 Class Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a committed and highly motivated teacher to join our dedicated, hardworking and professional staff. We offer our pupils the very best start to their education and we passionately believe that it is every child’s right to receive an education that fosters a lifelong love of learning. This position is suitable to teachers with a minimum 2 years’ experience.

The successful candidate will:

•       Have a minimum of 2 years qualified teacher experience

•       High expectations of the children both in terms of achievement and behaviour and be committed to raising standards

•       Be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently using their own initiative

•       Have experience of working across a range of different year groups

•       Believe passionately in creating an outstanding learning environment and opportunities to ensure all children achieve and make the best possible progress

•       Have a talent for bringing learning alive and be successful in securing children's excitement for learning

•       Be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents

•       Have excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills

•       Have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum Framework

•       Be able to adapt teaching to suit the learning needs of all children

•       Have a willingness to go above and beyond contributing to the wider life of the school
